The Thirty Nine Steps (ingilizce Özet)

Richard Hannay was born in South Africa. He moved to London to have a good occupation and to spend his life.
One day a mysterious man knocked his door while Richard was reading a newspaper about the Greek Prime Minister Karolides. Richard opened the door and saw that the man who was standing on the front of the door was skinny and had a brown beard. The man told Richard that he was in absolute danger and he asked if he could stay in Richard’s flat for several days. For the reason he said there were German spies all around the apartment looking for him because he knew plans and secrets of them. After listening to what he said, Richard checked around the apartment because he thought it might just be a lie. After he saw that the man’s reason was true, Richard allowed the man to stay with him and while that time his guest explained a lot of secrets to him, because the guest thought that it would be better not to be the only one to know the secrets. He told Richard that the Greek Prime Minister was going to be killed by Germans to start the war.
One day Richard went out and when he returned home he saw the man’s body lying on the floor with a knife through his heart. Richard knew that the spies were going to kill him because the man explained a lot of things to him and the German spies will able to guest that. In the morning he decided to go to Scotland. He knew Scottish very well and Scotland was a marvellous place to hide from the spies. He found a way out home by dressing like a milk man who comes in the mornings. All the time he was hiding and running away because the spies were following him. He was staying in houses and inns for the nights. One night Richard met a man. The man’s uncle was working for the foreign office of England. He explained all about the spies. And they found them in a house near the coast. The spies were about to leave England with the war plans of country. But they got caught and they never couldn’t go to Germany.
