Ömer Şerif
10 Nisan 1932 tarihinde Mısır’ın İskenderiye şehrinde doğdu. Asıl adı Michel Demitri Chalhoub. Sinemaya 1953 yılında "Sira` Fi al-Wadi" adlı Mısır filmi ile başladı. Ardından Arabistanlı Lawrence ve Doktor Jivago gibi büyük Hollywood yapımlarında rol aldı. Yaklaşık 100 filmde oynadı. Altın Küre ödülü kazandı.
